With nearly 17 years in publishing, Sohini Mitra has been with Penguin for almost 15 years, expertly creating books and content for children and young adults. As head of PRH’s Children and YA division, she leads a team of commissioning editors to build a program aligned with consumer trends and reading habits. Sohini has collaborated with renowned authors like Ruskin Bond, Sudha Murty, and Devdutt Pattanaik, while also launching new voices such as Payal Kapadia and Nayanika Mahtani. Her published works have garnered numerous prestigious awards, including the Crossword Award and The Hindu-Goodbooks Award, cementing her impact on children’s literature.
