As COO of Penguin Random House India, Sanjiv Gupta oversees finance, customer service, production, and IT, driving strategic direction across these divisions. Joining Penguin in 2011 as Finance Director, Sanjiv brings over 28 years of experience spanning various industries, including automobiles, aerospace, and real estate. He successfully merged the operations of Penguin and Random House and led the acquisition of Hind Pocket Books and Duckbill. Sanjiv was pivotal in establishing Penguin’s state-of-the-art warehouse, the first in the country to use FSC-certified paper, enhancing quality, efficiency, and delivery. His leadership ensures Penguin’s robust warehousing capabilities remain unmatched in the industry.
