Padma Sachdeva is a famous Indian poet and novelist. She is the first known modern poet writing in Dogri. She also writes in Hindi. Her poetry collections have been published, but she was awarded the Sahitya Akademi award in 1971 for her poem, 'Meri Kavita Mere Geet'.
